ALROSA says May diamond sales fall 9% on month to $365 mln
MOSCOW, Jun 10 (PRIME) -- The diamond sales of Russian diamond mining company ALROSA fell by 9% on the month to U.S. $365 million in May, the company said on Thursday.
Sales of rough diamonds amounted to $346 million and of polished diamonds to $19 million.
In January–May, the company’s diamond sales rose to $1.926 billion from $959.9 million in the same period of 2020.
